DuoDoodle
1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and Akash Sarker (“DuoDoodle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of the DuoDoodle Android game, website, invite links, and related services (together, the “Service”). By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 15 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If local law requires parental or guardian consent at your age, you may use the Service only with that consent. The Service is not directed to children under 13.
3. Accounts
You may begin with a Firebase anonymous guest account and optionally link it to Google. You are responsible for activity through your account and device, for keeping access secure, and for providing accurate information. Do not sell, rent, transfer, impersonate, or share an account in a way that compromises security. Tell us promptly at hello@akashsarker.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
Guest accounts can be lost if app data is cleared, the Game is uninstalled, or the device is lost before the account is linked. We are not responsible for guest progress that cannot be recovered.
4. Limited license
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Service for private, non-commercial entertainment. We and our licensors retain all rights in the Service, including software, branding, designs, game content, prompts, audiovisual assets, and systems.
You may not copy, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, bypass security, interfere with servers, scrape the Service, automate play, exploit bugs, or create derivative services except where applicable law expressly permits it.
5. Your drawings and content
You keep ownership of original drawings and other content you create. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, reproduce, adapt technically, transmit, display, and delete that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and support the Service and its match/reveal features. This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, except for limited backups, legal records, and content you shared outside the Service.
You represent that you have the rights needed for content you submit. Do not submit illegal, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, privacy-invasive, infringing, malicious, or otherwise seriously harmful content. DuoDoodle is a private drawing game, not a public publishing platform.
6. Fair play and acceptable use
- Do not harass, threaten, deceive, stalk, or target another player.
- Do not cheat, manipulate scores, abuse invites, evade blocks, create disruptive accounts, or exploit timing, network, or backend behavior.
- Do not upload malware, probe security, overload the Service, access another player's secrets, or use unauthorized clients or automation.
- Do not use friend codes, room links, or challenge links for spam, commercial solicitation, or unsafe contact.
We may investigate suspected violations and limit, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary to protect players or the Service.
7. Matches, prompts, scores, and availability
Backend records are authoritative for multiplayer membership, prompt assignment, roles, deadlines, submissions, reveal timing, scores, ranks, rewards, and progression. Connection scores are lightweight game measurements, not an evaluation of artistic quality. Network delays, disconnects, expiration, moderation, maintenance, bugs, or anti-abuse controls may interrupt or invalidate a match.
Daily Doodle definitions, rules, availability, rewards, and schedules may change. Practice play may not grant official rewards. We may correct erroneous scores, duplicate grants, exploits, or corrupted state. We do not guarantee uninterrupted matchmaking, permanent availability of any mode, or preservation of every unfinished match.
8. Friends, notifications, and invite links
Friend and play invitations are optional and may expire, be declined, cancelled, or blocked. Push notifications depend on your permission, device, and provider availability. Room, challenge, and deep links may be intended for a particular player or may allow the holder to attempt access; share links only with people you trust. Eligibility and membership are verified by the Service where applicable.
9. Advertising — future feature
The current version does not serve ads. We may introduce advertising in a future release. Ads may be supplied by third parties and may be contextual or, only where permitted and consented, personalized. We will update the Privacy Policy and relevant store disclosures before enabling ads and provide privacy choices required by law. Ad availability does not guarantee a reward, and suspected ad or reward manipulation may be rejected. We do not intend to place ads during secret prompts, drawing, pass-phone, guessing, countdown, reveal, or reconnect gameplay.
10. Purchases and virtual items — future feature
The current version does not offer real-money purchases. If enabled later, purchases will be processed through Google Play and will also be subject to Google Play's terms and refund rules. Prices, taxes, availability, and descriptions will be shown before purchase.
Virtual currency, cosmetic items, passes, or rewards are licensed digital features, not money or property; they have no cash value, cannot be transferred or sold unless we expressly allow it, and may be adjusted to correct errors or maintain game balance. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable Google Play refund rights are not limited by these Terms.
11. Updates and changes
We may update the Service to add, remove, balance, secure, or repair features and content. Some updates may be required to continue online play. We may update these Terms and will post the revised date and provide additional notice where required. Continuing to use the Service after an effective update means you accept the revised Terms, except where law requires another form of consent.
12. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account through Profile → Delete account or the process at /delete-account. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, or discontinuation of the Service. Where reasonable, we will provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Sections that by their nature should survive—such as ownership, accrued obligations, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—remain effective after termination.
13. Third-party services
The Service uses Google Play, Firebase, Google sign-in, Android sharing, and other platform features governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, outages, or actions outside our reasonable control.
14. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, DuoDoodle and its affiliates, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or opportunities arising from the Service. Our aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the claim or US $50.
These limits do not apply where prohibited or to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including certain liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, death, personal injury, or mandatory consumer rights.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, courts located in Dhaka, Bangladesh will have jurisdiction. Before filing a formal claim, please contact hello@akashsarker.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
17. General
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only as necessary and the rest will remain effective. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them as part of operating or transferring the Service. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement about the Service unless additional terms are presented for a specific feature.
